Gingivitis
Is gum disease which causes bleeding and inflammation of the gums. Gingivitis is reversable, but if left untreated it can progress to Periodontitis.
Periodontitis
Is an advanced form of gum disease that requires professional treatment to stop its progression. If left untreated it can lead to tooth loss and an increased risk of systemic health issues. At this stage Periodontitis is not reversable but it can be controlled with professional treatment and good oral hygiene.

We offer gentle hygiene appointments for children to help keep young smiles healthy and confident. These visits focus on prevention, education and make dental visits a positive experience from an early age.
Appointments include a thorough clean, plaque removal and age-appropriate advice on brushing, flossing and diet. When necessary, Fluoride Varnish is also offered and applied.
